Pop star ASHLEE SIMPSON-WENTZ is preparing to return to the small screen with a part on the MELROSE PLACE remake, according to a new report.
The 24-year-old landed a recurring role on 7th Heaven in 2002 and spent two years a member of the TV drama's cast.
And now she is set to act again after landing the part of Violet, a "small town girl" who is actually a "shrewd sex kitten within", reports Entertainment Weekly.
